Nick Markham (London, 1975) fue el líder de los desaparecidos Crosstown Traffic, banda emblemàtica mallorquina de principios de siglo que dejò como legado 3 discos de rock-prog imprescindibles. Seis años después Nick dió un paso al frente con su álbum de debut en solitario (Old Hat, 2011) donde nos mostraba en todo su esplendor todo el abanico de virtudes musicales que encierra su privilegiado talento como compositor, instrumentista, arreglista y cantante. Incluía desde piezas orquestales que podrian encajar tanto en el ambiente de Henry Mancini como en el de Danny Elfman, a canciones pop con aires sixties, rock setentas, folk mallorquìn, hard metal, swing, etc. Casi 10 años después regresa con Second Coming, su esperado segundo álbum, 14 maravillosas y sorprendentes nuevas canciones que nos retrotraen a sonidos pop-sicodélicos onda inglesa (Syd Barret, Bowie, Madness, Beatles, Bonzo Dog Band, etc). Todo grabado por èl mismo en su habitación.

Nick Markham (London, 1975) was the leader of the now defunct Crosstown Traffic, the emblematic Mallorcan band from the beginning of the century that left a legacy of three essential rock-prog albums. Six years later Nick took a step forward with his debut solo album (Old Hat, 2011) where he showed us in all its splendour the whole range of musical virtues that contains his privileged talent as a composer, instrumentalist, arranger and singer. It included from orchestral pieces that could fit both Henry Mancini's and Danny Elfman's atmosphere, to pop songs with sixties airs, rock seventies, Majorcan folk, hard metal, swing, etc. Almost 10 years later he returns with Second Coming, his long-awaited second album, 14 wonderful and surprising new songs that take us back to pop-psychedelic sounds on the English wave (Syd Barret, Bowie, Madness, Beatles, Bonzo Dog Band, etc). All recorded by him in his room.
